Macy's Downtown Houston (Foley's)

Houston's newly revitalized Downtown has brought with it an assortment of new shops that have become known as the Houston "Downtown Mall." Foley's, the keystone store around which the new shops and boutiques have sprung, had occupied the same location since the since the 1950s. It has 10 levels and occupies an entire Houston square city block. In 2006 this store, along with all other Foley's stores, was renamed Macy's. This is the only freestanding department store in a central business district in the Southern United States.
