Day of the Dead Festival

At the beginning of every November, locals in a somber mood head on down to Houston's Day of the Dead Festival. The Day of the Dead, or  Dia de los Muertos, is a traditional Latin American celebration to honor loved ones who have already passed on. Join others at Houston's MECA campus (Multicultural Education and Counseling through the Arts) for dancing, music, and theater productions dealing with the continual connection we all have with our deceased ancestors.
