Frequent top contenders in the Western Conference, the NBA's Rockets won consecutive NBA championships in 1994 and 1995. Having won the championship in the first four years of the WNBA, the Houston Comets are enormously popular as the first dynasty team in women's basketball. Winners of the 2006 MLS Cup, soccer fans can also catch the Houston Dynamo play some of the world's favorite sport at Robertson Stadium on the University of Houston campus.
