Located in La Marque, 30 miles south of Houston and 15 miles north of Galveston, Gulf Greyhound Park features live greyhound racing, parimutuel betting, and dining for hours of entertainment. As the world's largest greyhound racing operation, this air-controlled, three-level complex has entertained over 10 million visitors -- and paid out over 1.4 billion dollars in winnings -- since opening its doors in 1992. Gulf Greyhound Park is outfitted with over 1,100 closed-circuit televisions throughout the facility for a better view of the races. Color TVs even adorn the tables at the Terrace Clubhouse, where guests can relax and eat everything from Gulf shrimp to gourmet burgers. Gulf Greyhound Park offers traditional wagers like Win, Place and Show, as well as Quiniela, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Daily Double, Pick Three, Twin-Tri and Tri-Super wagers. With 318 teller windows, there are also "betting buddies" on each floor to answer any wagering or general information questions you might have.
