Nightclubs
You can get almost anything you want at Bayou PlaceEntertainment Complex in the heart of downtown Houston's theater district. When you've had your culture at the Verizon Theater, wine and dine yourself at the center's other venues. Chow down on the all-American food and drink at the Hard Rock Cafe, where you will be greeted by a 30-plus-foot reproduction of Stevie Ray Vaughn's Gibson Firebird guitar. Shoot some games at Slick Willie's Downtown pool hall and grill, or enjoy sushi and fusion cuisine at the Sake Lounge. If you want a good laugh, stop by the Laff Stop in the River Oaks Shopping Center, where you can hear three or four comics on any given night. And if you don't want to make up your mind, party at any or all of the six clubs -- comedy, country, classic rock, salsa/Latin, dance, and piano bar -- that make up City Streets on Richmond Avenue in the Galleria area.
