Greenway inn & Suites - Houston Hotels .com

This hotel was filthy - should not be a two star. The carpets in the halls were black with dirt, missing ceiling panels with wires hanging down, and the phone in the room was so dirty I didn't want to touch it. There were 2 COCKROACHES in the bathroom and the shower floor was dirty. I saw a couple of other bugs in the room but didn't know what they were. The balcony had not been cleaned and there was an empty pill bottle and cigarette butts on the balcony floor. Its in a pretty bad area of Houston which I did not know. There were also stacked up non working air conditioners on other room balconies. I'd rather sleep in a car than here again. The front desk was friendly though, and when I discovered that my room did not have a blow dryer, the girls there worked hard to scrounge one up for me to use which was very nice, given that they didn't provide anything like this to guests as part of their service. Don't let the pictures fool you, this is not anything decent.

For Breakfast they only give bread that is past the "Good until" time, the dinning room has actually roaches walking near the food and the electricity there is dangerous, the hair drier is old and would smell like burning just after turning it on, plus the beds are really uncomfortable, I would only recommend this place if you need to be somewhere close to the area and are desperate, otherwise, try to find another place.
